The watch is literally all black. The PVD steel case is coated with a black combination of titanium and carbon. The signature polyurethane strap is all black with the Torgoen Logo raised in relief. The dial is black and the numbers are a different finish of black. They are readable, but only upon close inspection. However, the hands, numbers and hour markers are coated in a nonradioactive Super Luminova paint and are clearly visible at night.

This is a very large European style Field Watch. The watch measures 45 millimeters in diameter or about 1 3/4 inches. Because there is no time elapse bezel, the watch face (or dial) takes up almost all that space. The effect is dramatic and quite good looking.

The case is solid stainless steel and plated with black PVD. The crystal is the new K1 super scratch resistant hardened mineral glass. The watch is fully water resistant to 100 meters or 330 feet below sea level. There is a date window at the 4 o'clock position that is easy to read.
