The Smith & Wesson Diplomat Chronograph has much more to offer than perfect illumination. The watch features a 12 hour chronograph (stopwatch) perfect for timing any sport, any event or any activity. The chronograph functions include a 60 minute and a twelve hour subdial for timing long events. And the watch has a continuous sweep second subdial at the 6 o'clock position. Finally, the watch also features a date function with a window at the 3 o'clock position.
Both the case and bracelet are made of lightweight titanium. Titanium is stronger than steel and is extremely tough and durable, yet it weighs 50% less than steel. Smith & Wesson also designed a double locking push button clasp that is secure, strong, yet easy to operate.
The crystal is highly scratch resistant hardened mineral glass. The watch is also water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet) below sea level.
