With styling reminiscent of the original 1930's and 1940's Army "field watches," the new design and management team at Field & Stream Watch Company has crafted a chronograph with the most modern technology plus leading features that will make this watch an instant classic.Notice the large, oversized, "double window" DATE feature in the close-up on the left. This makes reading the date very easy, unlike older, conventional date watches. Also notice that the black dial models have a tachometer guage around the outer edge. The tachometer allows you to calculate the speed over any fixed distance (pilot's often use this for air speed, but drivers use it to verify miles per hour on their speedometer).
Field & Stream paid attention to every single detail. In addition to a locking screw down crown and case back, the watch is water resistance tested to a depth of 100 meters (330 feet), very unusual for a chronograph. This assures the watch is perfect for any outdoor activity, including fishing, boating or snorkeling.
The state of the art precision Swiss Analog Chronograph movement has a special subdial that keeps time down to 1/10th of a second. 
And there is also a continuous sweep second hand subdial at the 3 o'clock position. Finally there is a 30 minute subdial for extended time measurement.
But the most important feature is the Field and Stream LUMI-TECH genuine H3 Tritium Gas Light Technology, shown in the photograph at right. This incredible self powered illumination system will glow continuously for 25 years for perfect time visibility in any lighting conditions. The illumination will NOT FADE during the night, as other watches usually do. And you do not need to "push a button" to read the time perfectly. In fact, this watch will grow brightly even if kept in total darkness 24 hours a day.
