 And our new cameo has the versatility of being worn as either a pin or a pendant. The pendant bale folds down and out of sight when the cameo is worn as a pin.
This is a large cameo, more appropriate to being worn as a pin or brooch. The cameo itself is 30 millimeters tall and 22 millimeters wide. The heavy 14k gold frame adds an additional 4 millimeters to the circumference for a total size of 34 mm by 26 mm. That's 1 3/8 inch tall by 1 inch wide, so you can better visualize the size.
This cameo comes from our master designers at the DiVinci Cameo Design Studios. And the design is a modern reinterpretation of the classic "Flora" Greek goddess cameo, but done with the most modern carving techniques in blue-hued agate.
Each cameo is actually carved by laser, underwater to reduce heat. This technique allows for amazing details and three dimensional design. The design actually seems to glow, with portions appearing transparent. The effect is simply stunning.
