As you can see in the large picture above, this watch is stunningly handsome. It has a great complication design with a big "two window date display" and three different subdials.
This watch uses Seiko's finest and most accurate quartz movement, the Kinetic Perpetual Calendar Design. Seiko's amazing perpetual calendar movement automatically adjusts the date correctly during odd and even months including leap years up to February 28, 2100. Subdials on this watch also indicate the day of the week, the month and the number of years since the last leap year.
Because this is a Kinetic watch, the new Coutura uses the motion of your body to keep the watch powered. And the power reserve system is so sophisticated it can keep perfect time for up to 4 years, even without any movement or wearing of the watch. Plus this movement is so accurate it's gain/loss rate is within 20 seconds a year!!
The attention to quality and design doesn't stop with the watch movement. These watches are as tough and durable as they are good looking. Each watch has a synthetic sapphire crystal which is virtually scratch proof. The cases and bracelets are solid stainless steel and are water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). And each watch has a cabochon crown for an additional touch of elegance.
