Although the T16 Series has only recently been introduced, it is already the most popular of all Torgoen Swiss Watches. This fall two new models have been added, bringing the total selection to seven great watches.
The most popular watches in the series have been the black PVD cases with the black dial and black strap. Added new this year is the black genuine carbon fiber dial shown to the right. Also new is a leather strap option for those who do not like the polyurethane rubber signature strap.
This is a very large European style Field Watch and as such it is extremely easy to read under any circumstances or lighting conditions. The watch measures 45 millimeters in diameter or about 1 3/4 inches. Because there is no time elapse bezel, the watch face (or dial) takes up almost all that space. The effect is dramatic and easy to see.
The case is solid stainless steel available with either a traditional brushed finish or plated with black PVD. The crystal is highly scratch resistant hardened mineral glass. There is a date window at the 4 o'clock position and the hands have a heavy coat of luminous paint for bright night time visibility.
The Swiss Made Quartz Chronograph movement has a stopwatch function accurate to 1/10th of a second. There is a 30 minute subdial and a continuous second hand subdial.
