Gem of the Day™ is pleased to expand our collection of Ear Charms™, a remarkable and exciting non-pierced ear cuff designed and created by award winning jewelry artist, Sandra Callisto.

Today we are featuring two different, yet related, designs The Pearl Wave and The Onyx Wave. Successive bands of sterling silver caress the middle portion of the ear before cascading down toward the ear lobe. At the tip of each band is a genuine cultured pearl or genuine onyx gemstone. The Standard Length is set with two 4mm cultured pearls or 4mm genuine onyx balls. It sits higher on most ears, much like a second hole. While it is not necessary to wear any other earrings with the Ear Charm™, we have shown the standard length versions above with our own cultured pearl stud earring or sparkling cubic zirconia solitaire (sold separately).

Also we are offering the longer versions which are generally worn alone. This Long length set is one 4mm and one 5mm cultured pearl or genuine onyx ball. The long length extends down further on the lobe and is generally worn without any other earrings. These are ideal for our clients who do not have pierced ears. You can see all the styles pictured below.

Like all of our Sandra Callisto Ear Charm™ designs, all four styles are available in sparkling white sterling silver or in Royal Gold Vermeil - 24K gold over sterling silver. Just specify your choice when ordering.

About the Designer

Designing and creating Ear Charms™ since 1982, Sandra Callisto is an award winning jewelry artist who lives and works in Laguna Beach - the renowned artist community in Southern California. The beauty of Laguna Beach is reflected in many of Sandra's contemporary designs and played a major role in the development of "The Wave™". Highly conscious of what works and what doesn't, Sandra creates styles that are classic, understated and elegant with clean lines and refined shapes. She plays an intricate role in the hand crafting of each piece to ensure the quality of craftsmanship of her designs. Sandra decided to focus on this style of earring because of her own problems with traditional style earrings. The way Sandra sees it, her Ear Charms™ are earrings for the 21st century - intelligent, healthy and an attractive alternative to piercing and clip-ons.
