Accutron rotated the traditional jeweled Swiss Automatic movement to create a vertical Tourbillion appearance using a classic movement. The designers opened a window through the dial at the 12 o'clock position to reveal continuous movement of the jeweled balance wheel. They then integrated the famous Accutron "Tuning Fork" logo into the window and created a modern work of art. The styling knocks out everyone who sees it.
The watch is made to the very highest Accutron standards by using 316 grade surgical stainless steel for both the case and bracelet. And they integrated sapphire crystals for both the front and back of the case. The finely detailed dial is detailed is three dimensional with raised roman numerals. Luminous hands and hour markers are included.
The watch is designed as a dress watch, and is only 10 millimeters thick, a rarity for an automatic mechanical watch. But the watch is extremely durable and is water resistant to 100 meters (or 330 feet) below sea level.
