About the Designer

Designing and creating Ear Charms™ since 1982, Sandra Callisto is an award winning jewelry artist who lives and works in Laguna Beach - the renowned artist community in Southern California. The beauty of Laguna Beach is reflected in many of Sandra's contemporary designs and played a major role in the development of "The Wave™". Highly conscious of what works and what doesn't, Sandra creates styles that are classic, understated and elegant with clean lines and refined shapes. She plays an intricate role in the hand crafting of each piece to ensure the quality of craftsmanship of her designs. Sandra decided to focus on this style of earring because of her own problems with traditional style earrings. The way Sandra sees it, her Ear Charms™ are earrings for the 21st century - intelligent, healthy and an attractive alternative to piercing and clip-ons.
