Accutron chose one of the world's finest mechanical Automatic (selfwinding) movements, the 25 jewel ETA 2824-2, for their Skeleton Watch. Then Accutron's designers in Switzerland updated the appearance of the traditional Swiss Skeleton Watch with a completely hand cut dial and cut-away movement, available only on this Accutron model. Because of the difficulty and complexity of this design, availability is extremely limited and we recommend reserving your watch well in advance of the date you will require it.
The watch case and bracelet are made to the very highest Accutron standards by using 316 grade surgical stainless steel. The front watch crystal and the back exhibition crystal are both virtually scratchproof sapphire glass. The finely detailed dial is three dimensional with raised roman numerals. The extremely easy to read deep luminous hands are outlined in cobalt blue.
Incredibly the watch is only 11 millimeters thick, a rarity for an automatic mechanical watch. But the watch is extremely durable and is water resistant to 100 meters (or 330 feet) below sea level.
